I bought this microwave through Kmart after reading some reviews as I needed a shallow depth microwave. It arrived today and even though I made a snafu in the depth measurement it actually fits where I intended it to go. Score! And super cheap as it was on sale etc - double score!

I love the blue lights and stainless look. The machine is not too heavy but solid and stable. It doesn't slide around and manages to stay on the microwave cart

It cooks food evenly and quickly and I am super happy with this purchase :) So far so good at least!

When my 25 year old Samsung microwave stopped working, I purchased the Sharp R-423TKC microwave. I enjoyed using it for less than 24 hours before it stopped working. I returned it to Amazon for a refund, and then purchased this model, the Sharp R-303TSC. Less than two months later, it also has stopped working. This time I brought it to a local repair shop. When the repair shop contacted sharp to obtain the necessary replacement parts, they were told not to repair this model. Sharp has stopped manufacturing this model just several months after it was brought to market. Sharp quickly sent me the R-309YV as a replacement. The R-309YV has a smaller turntable, less power, and the factory didn't attach the waveguide cover properly. I had to attach the waveguide cover myself using a whittled piece of microwaveable plastic that I found. The R-309YV is manufactured by Daewoo Electronics on behalf of Sharp, and typically sells for $40 less than the R-303TSC. One day has gone by, and the...Read more

There weren't any reviews when I bought this, but I had owned Sharp electronics before, so I took a chance. Good decision. VERY good unit, especially for the price I paid.
