Beware of the FALSE ADVERTISING by EMERSON products,

I bought this at a local store to make sure I got 900w - the statement on the Front of their Box and Booklet says 900W MICROWAVE OVEN
BUT
on the back page under specifications it states Power Consumption it is really 1350W
I tested it with a watt counter (which I bought from Amazon) and its norm is well over 1300 watts, even reaching over 1400.
After several emails with the company this is what they stated in an email (after my letting them know that I had checked it with a watt counter):
'It will use 1350 watts to have the 900 watt microwave output'
they know what they are stating is FALSE and they do it blatantly.
I have had a Panasonic for well over 10 years that still works wonderfully - and Panasonic is Truthful that theirs are 1300W;
because of my old house not doing well any more with anything over 1000W - that is the ONLY reason I went to all the trouble going to a local store because I wanted as large a...Read more
