I have owned the GE JES1344SK for three months. The heating is very even with no hot spot problems, due to having the turntable design.

The readout is bright. The cabinet and door construction is very good. I especially like the high quality finish on the door AND case. When you receive this oven you need to remove the blue protective plastic from the cabinet. I have read other reviews describing the oven case to be blue. Apparently the reviewer did not read the instructions to remove the blue plastic on the cabinet to reveal a beautiful satin stainless finish.

The rotary control is very refreshing to use rather than the conventional push button panel, but it takes some learning.

I have found this microwave oven to be excellent in every way, and highly recommend it.

Bought the first one. It had a faulty display, whole display would light up and flash randomly.

Took it back and exchanged it for another one

The second one completely failed after a month. First I noticed the clock would be off every once and a while, then the Kitchen timer stopped randomly, then it ceased to microwave.

Took it back for a refund.

This product is not worth the hassle.

Typical GE quality control, circa 2011. Made in China, natch. Bought this POS at my local Target for $120 and schlepped it home, got it plugged in, read the manual-and guess what? It doesn't work! Surprise, surprise. Guess Immelt is too busy paling around with the DC crowd to actually make stuff that turns on. What a sad, sad company GE has become.
