We bought this exact model exactly one year and three days ago. Without warning it died this AM. We never had a microwave die in under four years before. Looking back there was always something we thought odd about this one. The door opening button would stick every 3 to 4 months and I had to work with it to get it springing back out again. We thought it took longer than normal (for a 1100 watt microwave) to get liquids hot, 90 seconds for a cup of room temperature coffee. We thought it was just our perception until our adult daughter expressed surprise that I asked her to press 90 seconds to get my coffee hot. I always plug appliances into a quality surge protector, so it wasn't one of the frequent third world power surges we get these days. Lastly, the control panel became harder to set, requiring harder pressing, over time.

Our only knowledge of this model is based on the one we owned. We bought it from Walmart for only $49, so we are not unhappy.
