Our Jenn Air Over the Range microwave was recently diagnosed with a bad Magnetron and a repair cost of almost $500. So, we decided to see what else was out there and found this one based on several Consumer Reports and Online reviews.
The microwave installation was a snap and I was able to do most of it by myself.
The microwave itself performs well above expectations with more even and faster cooking times than my old crappy Jenn Air. All of this for less than the price or repairing my old microwave. On top of that, this one comes with a 10-YEAR WARRANTY on the Magnetron. I didn't see that anywhere else.
I highly recommend this LG model for anyone looking at mid-priced Over-The-Range microwaves based on performance, value and the warranty.

We recently purchased this LG OTR microwave and absolutely LOVE it!! We have a great room and were looking for something quieter. This microwave fit the bill! It also cooks food faster and more evenly plus the warming light keeps food warm while waiting for other dishes to finish. Highly recommend this model!

Our Kenmore Elite microwave died at nine years so I began my search for a new microwave on consumer reports. Armed with a list of recommended microwaves I researched the most highly touted models for feedback from actural user reviews and found that the suggested microwaves were held with poor regard in almost every review. Next, I searched positive Amazon microwave reviews and that led me to this LG microwave. I ordered it and as expected it arrived on time and the installation was very straight forward. It started up without any issues and has worked flawlessly. My wife and and I use the LG regularly and feel that the LG is better than the one it replaced in every way. If I were ordering tomorrow I would order the same thing.
