Product Description
LG is revolutionizing microwave cooking with the introduction of the first ever Warming Lamp*. This innovation allows you to keep entrees warm and ready to serve with the convenience of eye-level access. With LG’s OTRs, expect the ultimate in premium styling . By adding stylish controls and a hidden venting system, we’ve elevated our OTRs to a new level of sophistication. Never worry about serving cold food again with our warming lamp technology. This special feature maintains heat levels at 200?, 170?, 140? and 100? for a period of 90 minutes or less. The combination sliding tray and turntable moves side to side and spins ensuring food is evenly cooked. Use the sliding tray for large casserole dishes up to a 15" long and the tray & turntable for dishes smaller than 12”. Our intelligent system takes away the guess work in cooking your meals. Humidity sensing technology determines when food is fully cooked and automatically turns off the microwave. Our powerful 300 CFM (Cubic Foot Per Minute) venting system makes cooking more pleasant by reducing smoke and food odors caused by cooking.

Pros:
Cooks well. Great features for sensor cooking. Like the buttons on bottom. Rotating & articulating cooking try results in more even cooking -i.e. less hot/cold spots.
Cons:
It is very noisy.

I love this microwave. It cooks fast and more even than others I have owned. I really love the warming lamp. Keeps food warm till everyone is ready to eat. The only problem I can find is that it has no timer. I miss that. I would buy again.

Purchased in Oct 2009; installed in new home for use starting in December 2009. Within first month, oven would not heat or did so erratically. Warranty work to replace a circuit board to fix that problem. At the one year in use mark, the rotating plate/tray began to jump off track; another service call diagnosed a melted gear in the drive motor (supposedly a known design flaw based on plastic parts in a hot environment). Currently requesting warranty repair through LG. Parts online are cheap enough, but I question any company's integrity that does not step up and admit their known problems. Pending claim for repairs.
