I installed the handle and it broke where the screw holds the top of the handle in place. It was installed correctly and tight.

Amazon beat other places in price by a sizable margin, even with expedited USPS shipping, but the price still seems too high for the handle. But service for the order was good. And the replacement was very easy: remove the top screw holding the handle; pry out the corner of the ring on the inside of the door; remove the bottom screw; reassemble with the new handle. 10 to 15 minute job.

After researching purchasing this door handle locally, I found the price online to be much more affordable. It arrived in record time - I was impressed! However, I'm not convinced that what I received is the actual product made by GE. It seems more cheaply made than what I would have expected from GE.
