This review is from: Panasonic NN-T665SF family-size 1.2 cu.ft. 1300 Watt Microwave, Stainless (Kitchen) In response to the previous review, my microwave doesn't have stainless buttons. They're black and pretty easy to use. They are smaller than the buttons on my last microwave, but I am not having a problem with them. I like that this microwave feels bigger than it is. A lot of the real estate is used on capacity, rather than tons of large buttons on the side. The microwave is even a little on the light side. If you hit the door open button too hard, the microwave slides back a little. While this microwave is listed as family size, I think it's pretty compact for family size. Also, a bonus for it being black and stainless, which matches the rest of my appliances. I give it 4 stars because it's almost too lightweight, and the buttons *are* small, but you can't beat the capacity, power, and look for the price. 4 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By sewjan "sew" (Okotoks) - See all my reviews This review is from: Panasonic NN-T665SF family-size 1.2 cu.ft. 1300 Watt Microwave, Stainless (Kitchen) Only 3 months after 2 yr warranty expired, my "Start" touchpad will NOT work. It has already cost me $26.75 for a repair estimate, and will cost another $79.30 + GST to repair. Panasonic's response: "TOO BAD".
WARNING: Don't buy Panasonic. Buy a brand that will last longer than 2 years & 3 months. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Panasonic NN-T665SF family-size 1.2 cu.ft. 1300 Watt Microwave, Stainless (Kitchen) This microwave sounded fantastic, but we've had lots of problems with it since we purchased it a couple of years ago. Cons: It makes a grinding noise sometimes when the turntable is rotating inside. Recently, it started smelling like there might be wires melting inside, too. These problems could be just this one, though. The other issue is that despite all the claims of even cooking, it is not even as good as our previous cheap microwave was. That one, we donated to Good Will after around 14 years of use. It was still working at the time we donated it. Keep looking, if you want a really great microwave. Ours died after almost 4 years as compared to 14 from a no-name brand. I was happy to be able to go out and replace it but sorry we spent good money on this one. Pros: It looks good. 1.2 cubic inches is perfect for heating up full dinner sized plates of food. |
