Our samsung over the range microwave lasted exactly 18 months with very gentle usage. Then the keypad stopped responding. Samsung offers no repair options and no after-warranty service. Landfill is the only option. Avoid Samsung like the plague.

I purchased this microwave about 6 months ago, so I have been using it for a while. It has a bunch of great features and it looks fantastic for a microwave. It was a little difficult to mount but only because I didn't follow the directions properly.
I have used all the cooking modes and I have to say they are all handy. I use the microwave feature the most but sometimes convection is the way to go. It is awesome to have your pizza reheated in 7 minutes without it being all chewy due to the microwave cooking all of the moisture out of the dough. I've used the brown + microwave for heating chicken nuggets for the offspring and the convection + microwave for cooking potatos. All of these modes work as you would expect.
I was a little skeptical about mounting the microwave under the hood and using the convection feature. It actually is very cool to touch, without significant heat transference to the cabinets. This microwave is smart about fan exhaust to keep...Read more

Error Code SE,

Worked OK for two years and then started getting odd messages, beeps, and error code SE. All Samsung could do was advise me to unplug and call service. It is junk and SAMSUNG knows it and will not stand behind their products.
