I had an earlier model (R1500). It literally fell apart. The control panel went and had to be replaced, then the door started to crack, now the control panel is not working again, and the start button fell off. Piece of junk!

This microwave replaced a Sharp as well. I find that the Sharp models have the options that I like the most. It is vented outside and installation into the existing venting was effortless.

I do wish that it had a "Butter Soften" option as some other brands have.

i went to 6 different places looking for a over the range microwave.I found this one at best buy,but it came only in black and couldn't be ordered in white.I came home,looked on amazon.com,found it in white for the same price and with free shipping.I ordered it on a wednesday,it was delivered from ups that friday with a broken front glass door.It took a week to get my account credited.I reordered and was told I wouldn't get free shipping this time.What was different this time?The second one was delivered in perfect shape and has turned out to be a very nice microwave
