Latch Issues,

I had this appliance for 4 years, then the door wouldn't open. I had to buy another to allow me to use the existing trim kit. It does not look like Whirlpool has modified the door, and I am sadly confident the issue will recur.

I have a built-in microwave model GT4175SPS-2 for over a year, and it recently makes loud noise, the light is on, the turnable is still working, but no heat. I searched online and saw many people have the same problem. Watch out for this model.

This microwave works great except for one major flaw. The mechanism that causing the glass tray to spin breaks very easily. It happened on the first on and the second one withing a few months and you can't make your food spin anymore.
